Fiber Optic Cables for Oil & Gas

Fiber Optic Cables for Oil & Gas
FIMTs and FO-Cables from NBG for Oil & Gas upstream operations include electrical, optical, or hybrid cables for Coiled Tubing, Slickline, and Permanent Installations (with or without belt) in the common dimensions of 0.125 inches, 0.157 inches, 0.181 inches, and 0.25 inches. In addition, Fiber in Metal Tubes for Wireline cables are tailor-made based on the requirements in the field location and can range from 0.043 inches up to 0.25 inches. A wide selection of material grades and layering options for tubing material, stranding, and polymer extrusion allows for the highest flexibility in design, creating unique solutions for every challenge. Usage of high-performance materials such as Incoloy 625 and Incoloy 825 in combination with hydrogen-resistant fibers enables designs that are suitable for highly corrosive and sour environments.
